Durable Tag Materials for Workplace Safety

These safety tags are available in several material options designed to perform in a variety of workplace environments, from indoor facilities to rugged industrial settings. Each material provides a durable, writable surface to clearly communicate safety messages and equipment status.

Material Options

PF-Cardstock
Tear-resistant and waterproof synthetic tags made from pulp-free polyolefin-based material, containing no wood pulp or paper content. The pliable 10-mil construction resists cracking, distortion, and moisture damage. Ideal for indoor use and short-term outdoor exposure. Features a scuff-resistant matte surface that is easy to write on and includes a 3/8" hole for attachment. Tags can also be printed on both sides and may be perforated, sequentially numbered, or barcoded.

RP-Plastic
Heavy-duty 15-mil rigid plastic designed for more demanding environments. These tags are tear-resistant, weather-resistant, and chemical-resistant, making them ideal for dirty or greasy conditions. The material is relatively bendable while maintaining strength. Includes a mar-resistant matte surface and a 3/8" hole with reinforced metal grommet for secure attachment.

HS-Laminate
Nearly indestructible tags designed for the toughest applications. Constructed with thick laminate sealed on both sides for superior durability. These tags are tear-proof, weatherproof, and chemical-resistant, and can withstand dirt, grease, liquid splashes, and repeated rough handling. Features a scratch-resistant matte finish and a 3/8" reinforced pull-proof metal grommet.
